The University of Zadar

The University of Zadar was founded in 2002, but it is the oldest university in Croatia the historical sense, since it was built on the foundations of the Dominican General University (Universitas Iadertina), established in 1396 in Zadar. Also, the University of Zadar is the largest fully integrated university in Croatia. There are about 520 employees at the University which consists of 23 departments with about 5800 students studying at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level.

The University of Zadar participated in 21 Tempus projects and from the academic year 2009/2010 it is participating in the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP), sub-programme Erasmus.
